Who am I
My real name is Gerardo Lopez Barajas, i was born and raise in The Lady Republic of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico on December 21st, 1974. My mother named me Jerry as a nickname since i was born and i've been using this since, I graduated in 1998 as a Sound Engineer and working as one since then.
Well, Bicyclediaries is a dream I had since been a kid (typical story huh?)
To go around the world on a bicycle and learn from what this world has to teach, i always liked to watch the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Magazine or the the NGChannel, also traveling, camping and interact with other cultures, people, languages, food, and all that jazz.
So I've been planning this for about 18 Yrs and finally starting to take it more serious at the beggining of this year, after i watched the motorcycle diaries, and some other stuff i was watching on tv and reading in magazines and books, My head start spinning with all this desires and ideas, i start doing all kinds of research, buying gear and the closest to the right equipement and here I go let see how it goes.
